Where does flour come from? How are apples harvested? What types of bread are enjoyed around the world? Unit Studies open up the world of food a little wider with compiled videos to watch, current articles, and a few lab (recipe) ideas too!
Book Guide
Never your normal textbook, “Culinary Reactions” is the suggested core text that is easy to comprehend and make learning about the details fun! (A Book Guide with questions & answers is included)
Project Guides
Bring hands-on learning to a whole new level with Project Guides that encourage students to explore food beyond the books.
Course resources are hosted on course platform.
You will have a unique log-in so your student access the curated digital materials and see their progress.There are no tests or quizzes. Students are encouraged to record their observations, include fun facts, and answer questions in a notebook. FoodStuff Science is great for creative students who like to sketch or students tired of the answer question after question without engaging in the curriculum materials.
All PDF book and project guides are available to download and print at home (recommended!), but they can be viewed digitally on your devices as well
Books and lab & project supplies are not included (you can choose what and where you want to source the materials you need!)
